FLAGBEARER
This was a project that I decided to produce on a whim. While on contract at Microsoft in Bellevue, I would pass by this guy waving an American and POWMIA flag. I had seen him for the last nine months in the snow, wind, hail, rail... you name it. Every morning on my commute he was there. It was a sunny day, so I decided to stop and ask what he was doing out here in the cold. He started telling me, and I asked him if he minded me filming him. Turns out the next day was his 67th birthday, so I decided to make this video for him.
My video of Fred got so much attention on Facebook (6.6K Views and 82 Shares in its first couple days) that it caught the attention on local news station KING 5.
