GLITCHED: VR TALK SHOW
In collaboration with social network High Fidelity, we created a live in VR Talk Show featuring a mix of XR industry professionals and web based influencers. The series ran for 6 episodes while streaming to Twitch, Periscope and YouTube in real time. The last episode was performed with a live audience at a Microsoft store. We believe this to be the first VR show to be ordered in the same style you would a TV show. The main stage is a mix of out of the box models and custom C4D assets built for the show, while the greeting area is custom featuring a cyber punk theme.
THE AVATARS
The hosts of the show had avatars created using photography for a more realistic feel than your standard 3D model. Guest were allowed to use their own avatars or request that we build them something custom using Adobe Fuse.
THE SETS
it took about 6 weeks to build the sets using the high fidelity sandbox, web assets and custom 3D assets for the show. The main stage (First image above) is a mix of out of the box models and custom C4D assets built for the show, while the greeting area is custom featuring a cyber punk theme. The arcade section features 3 cabinets that have web sites assets that interact with guests when in VR.
